Marisol Diaz, Outreach and Policy Specialist, works to engage the community in key zero waste issues, addressing plastic pollution, producer responsibility and toxic chemicals.  Marisol is a graduate from the University of Washington with a major in Community, Environment and Planning. She has a strong passion for reducing and eliminating waste so much that she completed a training course and is now a Master Composter Sustainability Steward. She tries to live her life as zero waste as possible including educating her friends and family about the benefits of going zero waste. During her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and walking her dog, and spending time with family.
