About the Hackathon

We are excited to announce the first Pacific NW Zero Waste Hackathon, the final day of which will coincide with the Waste Summit. Zero Waste Hackathon is a five-week virtual competition that provides online seminars, learning tools, coaching resources, collaboration sessions, and cash prizes to accelerate the pace of Zero Waste innovation by current student and former graduate entrepreneurs across the Pacific Northwest.

How to apply?

If you have a passion for sustainability and climate action, are part of a business school program for entrepreneurs, and especially if you are already incubating a brilliant Zero Waste startup idea you need to take advantage of this program!

This program provides individuals and teams with the tools and support to explore their ideas, analyze their feasibility, develop a basic plan, and learn how to present it. Participating teams will gain valuable experience, valuable professional contacts, and maybe even some prize money to prepare them to participate in many other local, regional, national, or even global business plan competitions and accelerators.
