Kami Bruner, Chief Convener – Repair x Reuse Washington, was formerly Waste Reduction Program Manager. She led Zero Waste Washington’s Repair Economy efforts and Fix-it Fair initiative. Kami originally hails from Nashville, TN with extended layovers in New Orleans and Los Angeles. She’s interested in systems thinking, organizational capacity-building, and serving as conduit between great people and great ideas. She earned a BA in Religious Studies from The University of the South (Sewanee) and an MS from Tulane University where she focused on sustainable community development and disaster resilience, and completed a Permaculture Design Certificate in Detroit in 2012.
